I AM   Grateful TO:

First and foremost, I am grateful to God, the Creator of the universe, for giving me life on this earth. I am grateful to the Father for His love towards me by sending His Son into the world to die for my sins and give me eternal life. I am grateful to Jesus, the Son, for His sacrifice on the cross to set me free from the slavery of sin so that I can live and proclaim the Good News. I am also grateful to the Holy Spirit for His comfort, guidance, and all the talents to serve God. May God, my Mighty Counselor, guide me in fulfilling His purpose for my life until I meet Him face-to-face.

I AM Thankful  FOR:

My Parents (The late Rev. Duoc Van Truong and Mrs. Cuc Nguyen) for
their sacrifices as they raised me up and sent me to the land ​​where dreams come true.

The Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA) for
bringing the Gospel to Vietnam. ​I am the fourth generation of Christians in my family. My maternal great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Khanh Nguyễn, became Christians when the C&MA brought the Gospel to Vietnam in 1911. Their four children became ministers, including my grandfather Rev. Đằng Nguyễn. His five children also became ministers, including my father Rev. Được Văn Trương (my mother Cúc Nguyễn also completed Bible School). My paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Đẩu Văn Trương accepted Christ in 1937 when the C&MA denomination brought the Good News to the southern region in Tân Thuận, Cà Mau, via the Good News boat. Later, they witnessed to my paternal great-grandparents, and they accepted Christ.
